The GB-WHOS are finding ways to use biomass to help save energy, and to help the enviorment. Biomass is a great renewable resource because, it will not cause to much pollution and we will be able to burn wood, alchol fuels, garbage (such as used cans, and other garbage), and landfill gas. Upper Merion will be a great place to use biomass because we use lots of energy, all the trash from lunches and schools could be used for biomass energy. Upper Merion would be cleaner envierment because their wouldn't be as much trash because we could use it to make energy. This is why Upper Merion should use biomass energy. plaza.ufl.edu/ cjk11/Page3.html Sean Ginsberg- President Michelle Davis- VP

How was this energy resource used in the past? How is it presently being used today? What evidence is there about its future that would support using it in Upper Merion Township? Biomass in the past was used by, burning crops and wood. Now we use garbage, land fill, gas, wood, crops, and alcohol fuels. That’s how we used biomass in the past and right now. In the future we think that biomass will be used by, burning other things such as, paper, wood, and garbage to clean out our landfills.
Biomass energy comes from the ground of the earth. Biomass works burning wood, crops, garbage, landfill, gas, or alcohol fuels once you burn it, it give off gasses that mix with oxygen and burns it combines.
